While some of the things that I've written may or may not have touched a chord, tell me about some of the things you've written that have touched a chord in your life. For now, I am sharing what touched me. It's my good friend Nathan Baldwin.

Where are we
and have we really come so far?
A dissonant chord is ringing
through every television, every gun,
every ad, and every medium
we've built a wall around ourselves,
we've fogotten how to care,
And we've forgotten who we are.
It first started in kindergarten
when they told me to color in the lines,
and they taught me to listen.
I came to believe in doubt
Now that I've rebuilt my dreams,
I've been able to taste some of the fresh air
I've played it out in my head
At least a million times
of our voices echoing off of cave walls
and a beauty ringing out of natural dissonance.
